#Squadcast 68 : Marketing Automation for Dummies with Mathew Sweezey

Marketing automation has come up on this show many times before. Worth talking about repeatedly because it’s been shown to dramatically increase lead conversions and average deal sizes as well as improve forecasting and customer segmentation.

Back in March, Nathan Richie hosted/emcee’d the BMA Carolinas “B2B Rising Regional Conference in Uptown Charlotte at Central Piedmont Community College. Included in the plethora of super smart peeps that graced the stage – one of the audiences’ favorites was Mathew Sweezey aka Ms Weezey (we’ll get back to that in a minute).

#Squadcast 67 : Audience: Marketing in the Age of Subscribers, Fans and Followers

You might think the concept of audience growth would be old hat. But few marketers are approaching audience development as the foundational responsibility connecting all of their efforts. If marketers are not building proprietary audiences in a strategic fashion, then they’re broadcasting content to an empty room.

#Squadcast 66 : Big Data. PR’s Biggest Threat or Opportunity? #prsa

Big Data… you’ve no doubt heard the term, but what is it exactly? Ask 10 different people what it means and you’ll get 12 different answers.

And how is it impacting marketing and PR? Well…The rise of Big Data presents both a threat and an opportunity.

prsa

Big Data has emerged as one of the biggest trends shaping the business world. Thanks to new technologies, companies are now able to mine large sets of information to quickly leverage patterns and data points in order to identify consumer sentiment, develop sales and marketing opportunities, improve customer service and more.

Social media, for example, generates millions of conversations that can be analyzed to pinpoint positive or negative sentiment and even predict consumer behavior.
